Recently I decided to watch YouTube on a big screen using Chromecast. I connected my iPhone, everything seemed to be correct, but the broadcast just wouldn’t start. I spent a long time digging until I realized that the YouTube app needed to be updated. After that, everything went like clockwork. Maybe someone knows some other nuances to avoid similar problems in the future?

There was a similar story, but my broadcast also did not work right away because of the old version of iOS. I updated the system, and everything worked. Just in case, I can recommend another useful guide that helped me figure out similar settings. Here is app to airplay to firestick. Everything is described there simply and clearly, it may come in handy.

It's cool that you can do so many things with Chromecast now! I use it to stream movies and even show photos to friends at parties. I haven't tried YouTube yet, but now I think it's time to fix that. Thanks for the idea!
